    General CommentNot a big M.E. fan, but her voice is perfect for this track and I've loved it since first hearing it 1.5 years ago. She can't be with the person she loves for whatever reason, so all she can do is take comfort with the peace sleeping will bring. Before she finds her peace through dreams, she says goodnight to him/her as though the person was beside her. What should be a sad song comes off more of a love song. I really do love this song by Etheridge.

    General CommentDang...still no listeners to this wonderful song. It's the perfect song to listen to before heading back to bed after a lack of sleep (due to a dang cat!). "You could only ever want what I could never ever be" is such a poignant line.

    Song MeaningIn her autobiography she talked about this song. At this point, her and Julie were no longer speaking. They would say "good morning" and "good night" to each other, but that was it. This is her trying to reach out to Julie, but not getting anywhere.
