this is my favorite song by MFH. I cant believe no one has commented yet! But i think it is obviously about someone who does not like where they are, and they have had a bad year, and they just want to leave everything behind. Could be wrong, but it's something along those lines
this has become my new favorite song...i wish that more people would hear them cuz by the looks of it, not many have
But after listening to this song about thirty times in a row on a nine hour drive...i think this song is about a couple who had been together for a year and didnt want it to get too serious because she was going to be leaving at the begining of fall (for college or something like that)...however they got attatched and fell in love with eachother and wanted to make it work...then she left at the end of summer and as the months passed, she lost interest as he still felt the same and he knows that she has lost interest and he wish they could just let go and get away from it, but everything around him reminds him of it and he wants to go somewhere where no one knows him so he can just start over.

wow this song is like the story of my life, well most of it. I live in a small town, where everyone knows each other (and are related to each other as well) for me instead of the relation ship thing, as one of the people said above me (which I agree with), it's more of a friendship thing. Pretty much I had a best friend who had said some things that ended our friendship and she put me as the villain (blah blah blah). Anyway, now most every thing around my town reminds me of it and all of my other mistakes that I've made (nobody forgets anything in my town). So I want to go some place where nobody knows me and start over new.
