Is That You, Melissa Lyrics
Oh...melissa, youre in my dreams
Youre with me every day
Oh...melissa, could that really be
Your voice I hear?
Too soon for you and i
The priest took his sacrifice
And sent you to the other side
Oh...melissa, youre in my dreams
Youre with me every day
Oh...melissa, do you remember
The time we shared?
Do you remember the magic nights?
I will never forget your smile
Do you remember the love we
Had? ...
Oh the love we had
no...melissa
You gotta tell me why
no...melissa
I want her by my side
this is against the rules
There wont be another time
Melissa tell me why
I wanna know why
no...melissa
You gotta tell me why
no...melissa
I want her by my side
Oh...melissa, youre in my dreams
Youre with me every day
Oh...melissa, close your eyes
And say goodbye
One last time...well kiss goodbye
I kiss your soul goodbye
Youre with me every day
Your voice I hear?
Too soon for you and i
The priest took his sacrifice
And sent you to the other side
Youre with me every day
The time we shared?
Do you remember the magic nights?
I will never forget your smile
Do you remember the love we
Had? ...
Oh the love we had
You gotta tell me why
no...melissa
I want her by my side
There wont be another time
Melissa tell me why
I wanna know why
You gotta tell me why
no...melissa
I want her by my side
Youre with me every day
And say goodbye
One last time...well kiss goodbye

This song, along with "Melissa" off the "Melissa" album, as well as the other references to this lady Melissa throughout various Fate songs, kind of draws you into thinking about Melissa. You want to know more about this mysterious woman who King sings so passionately about. Melissa, for some people, could be a really good friend, or something that the person really loves and cherishes.
Melissa was inspired by a skull that was given to King. Apparently the skull had a blow to the head and King wondered whatever happened to the person and he just happened to make up a story about a witch named Melissa. Great song
