Well hello let's go
Everybody must know
Love's in my heart like a bomb
It's blowing a song inside I'm singing
Sunshine that your bringing now
And it makes me happy

Listen to the radio playing back in stereo
Sounds like my favorite song
I'm humming along
My head is ringing

And I just can't stop singing now
'Cause it makes me happy
It makes me happy
You're everything I need

Handed from above
I can't get enough of your love
'Cause it makes me happy
It makes me happy

Living in a day-dream
I'll show you what it all means
Spending some more time in the sun
Let's get up and run it's just beginning

I just can't stop singing now
'Cause it makes me happy
Like a fantasy that you never find
Right in front of me all the time
And it makes me happy

I want it all but not too much
I wanna feel the way you touch me
I'm the kind of guy who's always there to come and find you
Save the rainy days for another time
I'm just here to say read between the lines
I'm so glad that your mine

'Cause you make me happy
You make me wanna sing

I swear to god this song is about an orgasm. A girl giving a guy an orgasm that is. Read the lyrics. Think about it. Maybe I'm just a pervert, but I swear that's what it's about.

I agree with DisneyPrincess. This is just a happy-go-lucky in love song. Yes, "Up Periscope" was clearly about sex, but I don't think this one is.

Well, basically, Drake was involved in a major car accident not long before he wrote this, and he knocked out 6 teeth, a fractured neck, a broken jaw, and a deep cut across his chin, leaving a two-and-a-half inch scars. In an interveiw Drake said that it was scary being hooked up to tubes, fed only liquids and not knowing whether he would be ok, or if he would have a deformed face. And he didn't know if he'd be able to act or sing, or do anything that he does in normal routine everyday life again, or anything at all, so this song is about how happy he is that that can happen, and he can act, sing, write songs, play guitar, and just live normally basically. He's saying wake up and smell the roses because it could all be taken away like that ! It's about that. It's also about how he can do the things that make him happy. Also, the reason that this album, It's Only Time, with songs like Up Periscope, Fallen For You, and Do What You Want, are more bouncy than his first album, Telegraph is because of this also.

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.
