my view: mattys talking about a peron with a secular life(maybe did something to the singer? [you took so much from me theres nothing left to take]). and the person is doubting that he can ever be forgiven. but hes saying that he can't judge him but god is the only one who can. wonderful song, i actually found it better then the single "must have done something right" great going TSun, congrats. love it.
yea, i agree, the other person did something to Matty T, and he's really upset with them, but he realizes he can't judge them for what they did, even if it was something they did to him
the first two verses are kind of interesting, i'm almost getting a vibe it's about a relationship and the other person did something horrible to him, and he's ready to get over it, and even though the other person is horrible he'll still be friends, he just will never trust that person again
I also think this is better than Must Have Done Something Right, can't believe this isn't even on the CD, that's crazy, and faking my own suicide is (i thought that wasn't good at all)
I agree with the concept of someone doing something so awful to Matt that he can't forgive them. Also that Matt believes even if he can't forgive him this person can still recieve forgiveness from God.

I think this song means that if your living a bad life as a sinner and don't think you can ever be saved don't give up. That God will always forgive you if you ask him.
This song is totally about a heroin addict. I used to think it was just a friend that screwed him over, until I had a friend who became addicted to heroin, it matches everything SO perfectly. "You stole so much from me and there is nothing left to take" heroin addicts steal anything from their friends or family to pawn off and get a fix. And "Take a good look at yourself and know, You’ve got yourself a ways to go, But difficult is not impossible. You can take back all the lost control." totally matches that. My friend who is addicted to heroin has no self control, he's not the same person anymore... He doesn't look the same, he was a huge pimp and every girl wanted him... Now he totally could pass as a zombie. I don't know, I could be way off about the song, but either way it fits perfectly.
