[Intro]
So down, you've been up for days (I been there man)
So hold on, hold on.

(Yeh, i know what it feels like)
Your start nothing with your ways(And if you feel lost, im on my way)
So hold on, Hold on (Just hold on)

[Verse 1]
This kid sitting at the train station, trying to maintain shit,
Rain in his face, crying his brains flipped,
He swears to god every fucking to night that it will change shit,
But his grades get worse and his fights with the same kids,
His mother telling him he needs to smarten his act up,
But schools just a place where he go to get bashed up,
Self esteem smashed up, brutally battered, he's through it he's had it
With everything that truthfully mattered,
Abused and in tatters try to find his way to the front line,
But his peers hold him back everyday that its crunch time,

He's seen in the lunch line but never been noticed,
Its like he knows what he wants but he's never been focused,
So i hocus pocus pull out a magic trick,
I got to bring this kid back from a tragic trip,
Before its too late and a time bomb ticks,
Before he ends up drunk with a plate to his wrist (Yeah)!,

[Chorus]
So down you've been up for days, but im coming,
So hold on hold on, hold on, hold on cos im coming,
You start nothing with your ways but im coming,
So hold on hold on Hold on, hold on cos' im coming.

[Verse 2]
You see Debbie had a hunnie and thought it was figured out,
But Debbie fell pregnant so her hubby was up and out,
He left her with nothing now but chaos to order,
Man she facing life sentence single mother with a daughter,
He bought her a car but it take a tear from a stone,
But the message written is followed said to go it alone,
She home on her own, trying to raise a baby its bullshit,
This girls only sixteen and barely a school kid,
She's round with the cool click,
The popular school chicks,
The hot and the pool shit,
But bikini's don't matter if your fat in the tummy,
Is it sad or just funny it ain't a joke to her when little bobby's crying for mummy,
So now she's out on her own because her friends don't call,
She's a cinderallera princess without no ball,
To attend and a friend is all she needs when she's down,
And she greiv ill pick her up and put her back on her feet (Yeah)!,

[Chorus]
So down you've been up for days, but im coming,
So hold on hold on, hold on cos im coming,
You start nothing with your ways but im coming,
So hold on hold on, Hold on cos im coming.

[Verse 3]
The other week i saw this kid trying spit raps,
One of them parties where the private school chicks at,
He sporting payless shoes with the shit cap,
From the outer suburbs caught up in the riff raff,
He dropped a sixteen I swore that he'd make it,
They laughed at his clothes but he'd rap if he was naked,
I asked "why he did this?" he said "we just do.."
Its just like marriage boy you just knew,
He was one for each other, you could write to each other,
Spend a night with each other or fend and fight for the other,
So if he does it then im a do it to,
Hold on and be strong ill be back,
comin for you (Yeah)!

[Chorus]
So down you've been up for days, but im coming,
So hold on hold on, hold on cos im coming,
You start nothing with your ways but im coming,
So hold on hold on Hold on cos im coming.

[Outro]
Im coming home, im coming home, im coming home, but im coming
Im coming home, im coming home, im coming home, hold on cause im coming
Im coming home, im coming home, im coming home, but im coming
Im coming home, im coming home, im coming home, hold on cause im coming.

    Greta song.

Pretty direct at what it's about. I think maybe when he says he is gonna help that this is the song that is the help.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
