Other than being called "Gears of War", there is nothing to suggest this is about the Xbox360 Game.
I have no idea where the grind the girl theory came from, because this is obviously sticking it to weapons research and saying that super weapons are just new ways mankind is killing itself. I do not agree with Megadeth's extreme left views, but I can't stop listening it to it. Damn you Megadeth!

While I think the lyrics for this are pretty good, I seriously disagree that this is better than RIP. That album and song had sooooo much thrashing metal fury. GoW is much slower than Megadeth's usual standard of fast n furious metal. Except for maybe the album Countdown to Extinction, Rust In Peace is (IMHO) the best piece of music ever put out by Megadeth. That said, this is a pretty good song. Absolutely can't wait for the next album! RATTLE YOUR DAMN HEAD!
Actually, it is for the game. They were sponsered by the game, and wrote a song for it. Either they were paid to make it or they are big fans of game, which I heard they were.

Yeah, i just got to play Gears of War, and this has nothing to do with the game at all. Apparently, it is only inspired by it.
