Daylight Dies Lyrics
We watch the degradation of the civilization
The rise and fall of all we are
Stands here before us
This place is evil
We stare in insult
This world is vile
We are the answer
How long until we die?
Die from the inside out
How much is enough to see the light?
How much blood must be shed?
Come past the lies
We cannot be so blind
Hear their cries
The wait 'til daylight dies
Daylight dies
We all have blood on our hands
How can we (how can we) ignore the sound?
Come past the lies
We cannot be so blind
Hear their cries
The wait 'til daylight dies
The cost of one life
The price of ones soul
Is too much to lose
No more broken promises
The shattered hearts will heal
No more broken promises
No more (no more)
Come past the lies
We cannot be so blind
Hear their cries
The wait 'til daylight dies
How long until it dies?

we are in insult?. lol
kick ass song though
this song is fucking incredible
i think that the line "we stare in insult" is actually "is there an answer?"
This song is terrific. One hell of an opening to the new album. My veiw is the song could fit different situatuions in the world... I picked Rawanda as an example. The western countries allowed genocide to take place instead of stepping in. Rawanda had no real profit. If we went there, all we would be losing is money. The song reaches out to politicans, challenging them to step up and take the side of those in need. Daylight dies refers to how it is never to late to change things for the better. Excellent song.
Slowly we watch the degradation of a cilvilization. The rise and fall of all we are stands before us. This place is evil. Is there an awnser? This world is vile. We are the awnser? How long until we die? Die from the inside out. Houw much is enough for us to see the light? How much blood must be spilled. Contest the lies, we cannot be so blind. Hear their cries. Don't wait 'till daylight dies. When there is blood on our hands. How can we ignore the truth. Contest the lies. We cannot be so blind. Hear their cries. Don't wait till daylight dies. The cost of one life the price of one soul is too much to bear. No more broken promises, our shattered hearts will heal. No more broken promises. No more. Contest the lies. We cannot be so blind. Hear their cries, don't wait 'till daylight dies. How long until it dies? How long?
"This place is vile. We are the answer."- Horrible things happen around the world and the only way they will change for the better is if we step in and help.
"Contest the lies, we cannot be so blind."- Don't believe everything you hear. Challenge yourselves to see through people who want to deceive you into thinking everything is going alright.
"Hear their cries, don't wait 'til daylight dies."- Don't wait until it's too late. "When Daylight Dies" is a time when bad things move past the point of no return and it is too late to help.
