First time ever commenting on lyrics, but I think this song is about putting with your own issues, dealing up with your own struggles, and just carrying them onward until you die, hence the lyrics "Carry the Cross/And suffer the loss.

omg amazing song why only the one comment? i luv this song... had 2 lern it straight away. i think its about a murderer in a graveyard who beats them, and kills them by sticking a cross into them. Then they laugh and walk away. The wheel is perhaps a wheel of fortune. who will be killed next? possible correction:
