Slaves of Yesterday Lyrics

Monuments of dying dreams
As far away as Eden
These hours standing still
Finding comfort in a distant past

Slaves of yesterday
You are blind
Blind to the sunrise

A roaming spirit, forever lost
Among the living
Walking down the fatal road
Cursed to be left behind

Slaves of yesterday
You are blind
Blind to the sunrise

Lead melody - Christopher Amott

Woohoo, I'm first! Judging by the title name I would say that this song is about living with bad decisions. Maybe about how you realize "what might have been".

Yeah, great song indeed. Like cfury5 says, it's about the future generations who will be slaves of the short-sighted en egoïstic decisions we make in teh present. Mankind is destroying this earth and thereby the change of survival of future life.

I don't think it's about the future generations.. I think it's rather about the people who live in the past. They can't fully live their life because they're focused on their memories.
