Is this promoting Incest? I just got Thornography yesterday, it's great! they've changed a little but in a good way to where they're not fucking up and they're not repeating the same sound. Bravo CRADLE OF FILTH!!! on a job well done!

I dunno Thornography still hasn't really grabbed me in the same way that Midian or Nymphetamine did...
I could be wrong....but I think it might be refering to Adam and Eve rather then just straight up incest.
Thornography to me, is cradle of filth coming into their last leg of the band. Seriously, how much can Dani's vocal chords take. Good thing he gave them a rest on this song. I was waiting on them to do a bad ass instrumental. Doug Bradley sounds cool doing the intro.
Definitely, Thornography is one of their greatest albums, musicwise. They are exploring new sounds, more melodic riffs and vocals etc. Remember that speed is not everything you know. Lyricwise, i would have to say: Dusk and Her embrce and Midian.
But don't get me wrong, all their work kicks ass.

Anyway, think it has to do with Eden and the pursuit of heavenly ascension through sex. It's an old myth, similar to a lot of what Cradle refers to quite often.
And yea, Midian is my favorite album. Damn Cradle's good. :p

i got it the day it came out and i have to admit i fucking HATED it at first..... but it grows on you... especially when you listen to songs like Lovesick for Mina... the best song on that album if you ask me....
while i like the actual song, i dont like the cd in general and i think this intro is just dani trying to show off his vocabulary. look at the intro for a while, it doesnt mean anything.
