Somewhere In The Sky Lyrics
Another beautiful morning
the sun seems a little brighter today
it's my reward for stepping into the moment as i am seizing the day
[chorus]
I'm soaring now somewhere in the sky
the rush of air never wanting to come down
there's nothing that I've ever felt like learning how to fly
I'm learning how to fly
the freedom to be in the moment
the reason for making a memory
never wasting all that comes my way as I take in what I see
I thank God for our freedom
there's nothing wrong with enjoying things in life
spread the word that a smiles not beyond us
this is a call to act and seize your . . . (day!!!)

Carpe Diem.. Seize the Day lol....I dunno...I think its about stepping into God's plans and how it feels so awesome even though it can be absolutely frightening and at the end "there's nothing wrong with enjoying things in life" is like "being where we arent isnt boring its not just a bunch of words and rules...theres something more" I dunno.. Awesome Song
similarly, I think it's about your first hours as a broan again christian. It's such an awesome feeling and a "rush" but it is also somewhat scary, some people see it as a risk..until you really get to know God and replace your will with His.
born again**
Another great song off of a great album. I never thought about this song from the perspective of being born again, but I can see where you would get that. I interpret the song as both living life to the fullest and living life according to God's ways at the same time. I think he's saying that the two don't have to be two separate things (the last four lines). I think "learning how to fly" means learning how to live a full life in God's ways.
