Its from God's perspective. He's asking us to surrender our dreams to Him and things will change. We will be set free and we will rise with wings like eagles, we will run and not grow weary... I agree with Tournequet. I think it's from God's perspective...He's comforting us and remind us to not be afraid, He is in control and things are about to change. I think it also has an element of the intimate relationship God wants to have with us. He is our freedom.

Wow, this song makes a lot more sense to me now after reading these posts. It just never clicked for me that it could be from God's viewpoint, lol.
I love this song! Although I agree it may be a song about God's comfort words to us, since Kutless is a Christian band, I think sometimes we must not forget that there are also people around us who can be like saviors to us, and this song could be about a special someone in your life.
