As Daylight Dies Lyrics

We watch the degradation of the civilization
The rise and fall of all we are
Stands here before us

This place is evil
We stare in insult
This world is vile
We are the answer

How long until we die?
Die from the inside out
How much is enough to see the light?
How much blood must be shed?

Come past the lies
We cannot be so blind
Hear their cries
The wait 'til daylight dies
Daylight dies

We all have blood on our hands
How can we (how can we) ignore the sound?

Come past the lies
We cannot be so blind
Hear their cries
The wait 'til daylight dies

The cost of one life
The price of ones soul
Is too much to lose

No more broken promises
The shattered hearts will heal
No more broken promises
No more (no more)

Come past the lies
We cannot be so blind
Hear their cries
The wait 'til daylight dies

How long until it dies?
How long?
How long?
How long until it dies
How long?
How long?

Wow the new material rips! I really like the more aggressive sound of KSE... As far as the meaning is concerned: the lyrics are self-explanatory.

The lyrics are about war(anti war better to say) and the leader's of the nations (as i think) that they should stop it....or maybe about the suppression of the people in usa / middle europe by their rogue presidents / senats (i know im crazy : P)

Actually the correct title of the song is Daylight Dies. But meh. Great song. I've only recently started to listen to KSE, and they're pretty awesome :)

i think different people have different reactions to certain songs, and i believe this song is saying that if you have a chance to do something, then go ahead and do it, don't wait till the opportunity passes you, by hence "don't wait till daylight dies

I don't think this song is anti-war.. at least in the sense that Nyth was saying. I think in a sense its actually somewhat saying the opposite. Talking about how people or countries just sit back and "We watch the degradation of civilization". We need to stop watching and waiting for people to die and act on what is the right thing to do.

This was the first song I ever heard of theirs. My friend made me wait over an hour in a music store as he searched through countless CDs trying to find something he liked. He couldn't find anything he wanted. But we were in hot topic and we seen one of the coolest looking album covers ever; so he bought it. I've been a dedicated fan ever since.

I think this song is either anti-war, or perhaps just about taking a stand for your beliefs; not just letting the government make all your decisions.

But, this song could also be about global warming and humanity's effect on the planet. If we don't do something about that, daylight really will die.
