End this suffering
You made a monster of me
Through all your wicked lies
Forever tortured by you
Abandoned at death's door
Until I said no more
Don't look away
You're just a former regret of mine
And when you want, just look away
You're just a former regret of mine
Erasing now
You made a rock star of me
Gave me this wicked life
Paid to be tortured by you
A life I now abhor
And still I say, no more
Don't look away
You're just a former regret of mine
And when you want, just look away
You're just a former regret of mine
Erasing now
Think over all of the shit in your mind
Think over and come to grip with it
Think over all of the shit in your little twisted sick mind, all said
Think over all of the shit in your mind
Think over and come to grip with it
Think over all of the shit in your little twisted sick mind
And when you want, don't look away
You're just a former regret of mine
And when you want, just look away
You're just a former regret of mine
Erasing now
You made a monster of me
Until I said no more
Don't look away
You're just a former regret of mine
Erasing now
Through all your wicked lies
Forever tortured by you
Abandoned at death's door
Until I said no more
You're just a former regret of mine
And when you want, just look away
You're just a former regret of mine
Erasing now
Gave me this wicked life
Paid to be tortured by you
A life I now abhor
And still I say, no more
You're just a former regret of mine
And when you want, just look away
You're just a former regret of mine
Erasing now
Think over and come to grip with it
Think over all of the shit in your little twisted sick mind, all said
Think over all of the shit in your mind
Think over and come to grip with it
Think over all of the shit in your little twisted sick mind
You're just a former regret of mine
And when you want, just look away
You're just a former regret of mine
Erasing now
Until I said no more
You're just a former regret of mine
Erasing now

I think he is talking to himself and accusing himself for a certain life-style and for certain ideals and actions he accomplished, obsessions and addictions who made him a monster. He’s turning his back at his old self “Erasing now” and looking forward to a new existence "End this suffering". ( sure, all the other interpretations are also very good :) )
do you not believe that jews pray as well? He was raised as an orthadox jew and fluentlly speaks hebrew. his grand parents were holoucast suvivors. If you dont believe it just look it up online read just one of many articles or look it up online. its on wikipedia as well.

I personally believe that the song is talking about when a very close friend, or even a lover that you trusted so much betrays you. "You made a monster of me Through all your wicked lies Forever tortured by you" That means that you trusted them and that you believed everything they told you, and then they betrayed your trust, and contradicted their words with their actions, and how that caused you to give into your hatred, and anger toward them, becoming consumed by it and ultimately it begins to control you. "Don't look away You're just a former regret of mine" That means that you are demanding that they look at what they have done to you, and what you have become. "And when you want, just look away" This is talking about how what they have done to you is so horrifying that it is unbearable to look at/watch. That is my belief on the meaning behind the song. I believe this is by far one of the best Disturbed songs thus far. Then again, I have yet to come across a Disturbed song that I don't like.
FYI David Draiman is Jewish.
Wikipedia is correct and gives all the info about David. Including the fact he is Jewish. Also there are several songs with hebrew words and in Pain Redefined he says "I'll stand and fight, I'm not afraid to die Elochai will bury me tonight" which is one of the Hebrew names for god. Plus he wrote the song "Never Again" which pertains to the Holocaust. Plushttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Draiman#cite_note-ID144985-5
yes, as the other people have stated David Draiman is Jewish. He has a younger brother that lives in Jerusalem and is in a band. It isnt hard rock/metal however it is pretty good.
I think this song explores frontmant David Draiman views on how the media can perceive you sometimes or how they can force others to perceive you. You get tired of the lies, & misinformation being force fed about you.

link to the song if no one has heard of it, i just found it myself
The song speaks to "God", the one who gave him life, torment, wealth. "You made a monster of me Through all your wicked lies Forever tortured by you Abandoned at death's door Until I said no more".
kind of sounds like this song is about how it feels to be taken to the top, promised everything, and pushed over the side.
