Your Warning Lyrics

You're warning me to get out of the way
Was the safest thing to say
This trying to get out of a tight spot
Isn't even worth a shot
And all of the world calls out at once
Give us pain
It's a friend to us
And we don't decide for ourselves very much
What we are we owe to the fear of love
Don't bring it around
I've reached for that
Once it is found
It turns it's back
What's it called when you're married
And you've fallen out of love
What's it called when the family
You've raised you don't know at all
Give us a point to miss
Endings are killing me slow
I only ask for this
Empiness replace my soul

I think "Your warning me" fits better at the beginning as it ties in with the second line. He's saying that the warning he was given was the safest thing to say.

I´m still sure he sings

"What´s gone when you marry, and you fall out of love... ...What´s gone when your family, you´ve raised you don´t know at all"

But that´s by the by, it´s a phenominal song, which evokes a great sadness inside my spirit whenever I hear it.

i think that he's trying to say something about how pain can affect everyone and can effect diffrent people in differnt ways. What's it called when your married...... means a lot to me because it's sort of like a pain that everyone can ecperiance but not know how someone telling them about theur pain of it actually feels like.

It's a bit like you know how to stay safe but sometimes you don't want to be safe too as sometimes having some pain can be good for you.

i have just taken a fewlines that i like a lot and analysed them. hopefully it helps you all to understand alittle better.

i think this song has something to do with realizing that the relationship you've been in for some years has run its course and you and your partner both realize that it is over.

I have no idea what the song means...BUT everyone has got to agree that the "What's it calles when you're married..." bit is just simply BEAUTIFUL and just really gets to your soul.

"Emptiness replace my soul." Probably like the worst thing you could wish/hope for. Sounds to me like he's just longing to be dead to the world, He just wishes he could not feel. Been there. The ending of the song definately sad. Awesome, almost haunting song.
