I love this song <3 For you stupid people, it isnt The Barber's Unhappiness part 2. The Barber's Unhappiness was based off a short story. Didi My Doe is about a guy who leaves his girl behind to become famous and he later misses her, but knows its a bit late now.
This song has absolutely nothing to do with The Barber's Unhappiness (which is based off of a short story by George Saunders). Part one of this song is actually a parody on "don't take my sunshine away" that Shawn has occasionally solo'd in concert.
can't believe there aren't ne comments on this song...def one of my favs on "decomposer"...the chorus is the best...

I think this song is called Didi (My Doe Part 2) because the first part was The Barber's Unhappiness.
In The Barber's Unhappiness, there's a part that says: "Do me a favor, would you, my Doe Don't come over later, don't spend three days in a row"
This song reminds me of "Jesse's Girl" or "My Sharona" or "Jenny (867-5309)". It's cool.
