She never slows down
She doesn’t know why but she knows that
When she’s all alone it feels like its all coming down

She won’t turn around
The shadows grow long and she fears
If she cries that first tear, the tears will not stop raining down

So stand in the rain
Stand your ground
Stand up when it’s all crashing down
You stand through the pain
You won’t drown
And one day what’s lost can be found
You stand in the rain

She won’t make a sound
Alone in this fight with herself
And the fears whispering if she stands she’ll fall down

She wants to be found
The only way out is through everything
She’s running from, wants to give up and lie down

So stand in the rain
Stand your ground
Stand up when it’s all crashing down
You stand through the pain
You won’t drown
And one day what’s lost can be found
You stand in the rain

this song's not about God, but it has Christian undertones, just because, instead of promoting some selfish means of shallow relief, it encourages you to just face whatever crap life's throwing at you, because this life isn't it, so there's definitely a light waiting for you at the end of the tunnel. Stand in the Rain is similar to Beauty from Pain, just without the word "God" in it, basically.

" I don't want my views on it to be tainted because of this. I'm not exactly the number #1 believer of god... "

Honestly, i take personal offense that this song being about God would "taint" it for you.. what's wrong with loving a God-oriented song?
