If You Want Peace...Prepare For War Lyrics
Go!
Pain ain't even really what you wanna be
5 feet under seeing what you gonna say
The opportunity to divide
The opportunity of being apart!!
Soon be there, the moon in the sky tonight
We're burning on a purified
Smash your face and then I beat it down
Are we really gonna die
Get up and fight, release your rage, come on and fight
Standing straight faced, it is your fate, calling my name
Calling me pain, and if you stay, you'll bite the scythe
Waiting for you I want to just tell you
If you want peace, prepare for war
Fuck!
[Solo]
Get up and fight, release your rage, come on and fight
Standing straight faced, it is your fate, calling my name
Calling me pain, and if you stay, you'll bite the scythe
Waiting for you I want to just tell you
Get up and fight, release your rage, come on and fight
Standing straight faced, it is your fate, calling my name
Calling me pain, and if you stay, you'll bite the scythe
Waiting for you I want to just tell you
If you want peace, prepare for war
5 feet under seeing what you gonna say
The opportunity to divide
The opportunity of being apart!!
We're burning on a purified
Smash your face and then I beat it down
Are we really gonna die
Standing straight faced, it is your fate, calling my name
Calling me pain, and if you stay, you'll bite the scythe
Waiting for you I want to just tell you
If you want peace, prepare for war
Fuck!
Standing straight faced, it is your fate, calling my name
Calling me pain, and if you stay, you'll bite the scythe
Waiting for you I want to just tell you
Standing straight faced, it is your fate, calling my name
Calling me pain, and if you stay, you'll bite the scythe
Waiting for you I want to just tell you
If you want peace, prepare for war

Alexi Laiho obviously isn't a pacifist.
These lyrics are wrong. Unfortunately, the official lyrics aren't available anywhere, though. So whatever.
welll.... if you got the right lyrics post 'em
I think these are the correct lyrics

Personally I think this song is about survival, you simply cant stand and wait for death, you got to fight your wait, as a person or as a nation you got to fight, otherwise you will be extinct, so better to be enraged than to be apathetic, at least while you're enraged you will act and take down some enemies before fall, so your life wont be worthless
i guess its saying "one of these days, you're gonna have to fight, and when you do, it shall be vicious".....or, as the title implies...If you want peace...prepare for war
I'm not sure, I think these lyrics pertain to people who always avoid conflict which isnt good. I don't really think this song is political( I dont think the song is really about war.)
i think its kind of an "anti hippie" type song. saying that war is the only way to keep the peace between nations and people. which in a sense is kind of true if you are willing to look at it that way. of course it may have a double meaning to it, maybe something a little closer to the heart
The song refers to a latin saying: Si vis pacem, para bellum
Essentially, it means "If you want things to be peaceful, then you need to prepare to fight for that peace because it isn't going to come without a battle"
