Bottom of the Death Valley (English) Lyrics

I've packed up everything I loved in the trunk of the car over there
putting in the key I'm going for a last drive from the cliff I'll be free...

My Sister, Obscene Sister fucked, toyed with, drowned
My Sister, Lustful Sister if you notice the white ocean floor
My Sister, Mother Is Sister mother loved the white ocean
My Sister, Drug Addiction

I Will Go To The Heaven
Playing The Suicide
I Will Go To The Hell

I've left behind everything I loved through the door of hope that's down there
with my right hand I catch hold of hands that won't stop trembling so I won't notice the tears she hides from me

Sleeping down there in the trunk of the car
Now my child and I are packed in together

Kyo lost his wife and child. The songs about wanting to die so he can be with them again. I believe they might've died in a car accident…

um theres nothing to prove that...and theres more evidence that he never got married or had children...

So no, it's not really twisted or psychotic at all… It's more miserable and heartbreaking than anything else… But I guess I can see why you'd think that, if you take the song's lyrics for face-value. But, the more you listen to Diru, the more you realize you can't take their songs for face value…

why can't twisted or psychotic be miserable and heartbreaking?

I don't think it's some who lost his family in car accident. It's rather about suicide. He packed everything he love in trunk- I think he refers to a person. Probably a child. He mention his sister, so it looks like it's her child. I don't know if she was raped or somethin but the childed was killed beacause he loved her. What kind of love was that? Since i read somewher that kyo really has a sister i think it's some kind of methaphore.

Just looking at the lyrics I get the feeling the narrator had sexual relations with his sister and got her pregnant... perhaps someone figured out and killed her after the child was born? The line "Mother Is Sister mother loved the white ocean" is in past tense and makes it seem like she's dead. I think the line "with my right hand I catch hold of hands that won't stop trembling" refers to the baby, and he's putting it in the trunk - "Now my child and I are packed in together". After the death of his sister and the shame heaped on him by whomever he just wants to escape from it all.

At least that's my take on it.

I read this song is about a woman in japan that committed suicide with her 2 children and drove off a cliff in to the ocean. It appears that Japanese people often commit suicide.
