You did the trick
I didn't see it coming
I did not hear a sound

Though you were quick
I will not be forgiving

You won't be waiting for my return
I promise baby - You'll burn

Now it snows in hell
This is the day foretold till death do us part

Now it snows in hell
I've gone away but I've got you in my heart
All frozen and scarred

Your life goes on
And it's infuriating
How did you not get caught

Your deed will spawn
A late beyond your making

You won't be waiting for my return
I promise baby - You'll burn

And now it snows in hell - We're done masquerading
This is the day foretold till death do us part

Now it snows in hell - No you won't be waiting
I've gone away but I've got you in my heart
All frozen and scarred

You shouldn't visit me at my grave
My hands will grab you through the dirt
I gweth - I taketh away
Witness my rebirth from the devils churn

Hell - We're done masquerading
This is the day foretold till death do us part

Now it snows in hell - No you won't be waiting
I've gone away but I've got you in my heart
All frozen and scarred

Hell - We're done masquerading
This is the day foretold till death do us part

Now it snows in hell - No you won't be waiting
I've gone away but I've got you in my heart
All frozen and scarred

aniland, your an idiot. the website is songmeanings, not reviewsongs! i am so sick of useless f-ing posts! i know the song is good, i wouldnt look up songs i hate!! retards...

anyway, from hearing the song, it seems to be about his wife who murdered him and got away with it, and while he is heartbroken, he wants revenge, and wants her to burn in hell.

"This is the day foretold till death do us apart" - when you get married, it says until death do you part.

"I've gone away but I've got you in my heart, All frozen and scarred" - he still remembers her even in death

"How did you not get caught" - she was not caught even though she did something, which seems to be murder

    what do you ppl think??

both of yall are making useless posts. i think his wife killed him and now they are seperated -"till death do us part" even though she didnt make him suffer, he will not forgive her for killing him.

I think, yes, his wife did kill him, but instead of wanting her to suffer forever he still loves her, from the line "I've gone away but I've got you in my heart All frozen and scarred" and it seems that way in the music video; She is about to be punished by what I assume are fellow-villagers, but he saves her at the end of the song and transports her somewhere peaceful.

    Song Meaning

As far as i know it's about something impossible that happened, for instance: someone says something that's actually impossible so the other person could reply like: Yeah, if pigs could fly, or: yeah, if it would snow in hell. so the impossible became a fact thus making it snow in hell.

Tis a curious song, probably about revenge, as the others here say. I would agree that there is some motif of vengeance, but I think that it's not against the person who killed him, but rather against someone who betrayed him. It's highly possible that the singer/narrator of the song (not Lordi himself but a character portrayal of something) was betrayed by the subject of the song and thus wants revenge: maybe the wife didn't kill the husband, but after the husband died the wife remarried? Who knows?

Though the band's interpretation of it gets me; from the video they made for it it's like Lordi's rescuing a woman accused of witchcraft. Anyone mind helping me understand that one?

It's about getting revenge on someone in hell, ie cold revenge hell freezes over etc
