Beastiality Lyrics
In my stomach
There is a fire
You give it fuel
And the flame burns higher
I’m a black dog
Running across the moor
To bring the trouble back to your door
And I am not sorry, no
For this part of me
Why should I be sorry
For my bestiality
So lock your door
But I won’t back down
Not ’til the trouble
Has come back around
Say what you want
But I won’t calm down
Not ’til this trouble
Has turned back around
Back to you
Back to you
It’s all coming back to you
Back to you
Back to you
It’s all coming back
Come on sister
It’s time you show your face
You know the games you play
Are clearly losing pace
And I believe in peace, yes!
And my heart is calm,
But now you’re tripping wires
You’re setting off alarms!
I am not sorry
For this part of me
I’ll never be sorry, no
For my bestiality
So lock your door
But I won’t back down
Until the trouble has come back around
Say what you want
But I won’t back down
Until the trouble
Has come back around!
(Wolf howls)
As nature is as nature does
And nature does as nature will
As nature is as nature does
And nature does as nature will
And nature is as nature does
And nature does as nature will
And nature is as nature does
And nature does as nature will!
There is a fire
You give it fuel
And the flame burns higher
I’m a black dog
Running across the moor
To bring the trouble back to your door
For this part of me
Why should I be sorry
For my bestiality
But I won’t back down
Not ’til the trouble
Has come back around

This is a part of Patrick that we've never really seen: that there is an animalistic part of him; he can be angry, unrelenting. He has accepted that it is a part of his nature, and he hasn't any reason to be sorry for it.
It seems he's singing more about solving some sort of issue. In any case, it sends shivers all around my skin.
The zoosexual does not have an issue within himself to solve. The issue is with others that are in conflict with the zoos desire for peace. The zoosexual is for peace calling out for peace hoping humans animals that wear clothing hear the cry of the zoo ,and hope human animals lovingly accept the zoo that does what nature does.

Hahaha. Is this for real? Did you write that while writhing around in a yiff pile?

Sorry. I get it. Animals that wear human clothes.

Animalistic is the perfect way to describe this song. I was just talking the other day with someone about the ambiguity of whether something's meant to be a metaphor or not- Beastiality being the song in question.
I have a live version of this from the Wolf's Lair website, does anyone know if there is a studio b-side or something?
The bestialist-zoosexual is for peace, and is calm of heart because perfect love that casts out fer is in them, and perfect love comes from the Lord God Jesus Christ who is in the one who has sex with another species seeking peace on earth even as it is in heaven. Peace is what all should seek to be one in love ready for when Christ parts the heavens like a scroll with power, and great glory.

Yes, Jesus Christ vicariously has sex with animals. Amen.

The lyrics to this song kind of creep me out...but it's still a great song anyway!
I was able to cap a version of the song without the skip in the beginning, the part that's missing is "To bring the trouble back to your door".

A part of Patrick that we've never really seen before? Really? To me it seems this song is very much along the lines of Tristan, The Childcatcher, Don't Say No etc.
It's an amazing song - don't get me wrong. It is incredible, inventive lyrics, beautiful voice, fascinating instrumental, I love it. But it's not a side of Patrick we haven't seen before. He stays reasonably consistent with producing Patrick-y masterpieces.
I was, at the time, talking about him personally. I hadn't felt like I'd heard him express as directly that part of his OWN personality before.

Also I was listening to PW before anyone knew who he was. Now I'm bored.

Seeing what I wrote about him when I was 17 is amusing, however.

Patrick is so in love with life.. it's amazing and (a bit) disturbing at the same time. And actually this is a side of Patrick that he doesn't try to hide at all... just look at his lyrics to The Adder. He has a fascination with beastiality
But truthfully, this song makes me feel like he is supposed to be a wolf running in the forest. It IS very animalistic and fierce
I did comment on this without listening to it by the way... Does anyone know where I can find the song itself???
I think he is talking about his sexualty. I think he uses the term 'beastiality' almost as a euphimism for liking guys. He is saying guys are animals. I really didnt explain this well...
xXlastgoodbyeXx, I wouldn't say Don't Say No is showing an animal side of Patrick at all, in fact quite the oposite. The meaning is passive and relenting.
But about this song, He's not necessarily talking about Bestiality, we all know how Patrick is fond of his metaphors, but more about frustration and anger and animal instinct, and NOT being sorry for your actions and behaving how your body tells you to. It's a wild and magical song.
OR it's like, the beastiality he's talking about isn't the beastiality we know, it's just a word for the animal side of him. 'Why should I be sorry for my instincts and agressions?' kinda thing.
