The World Is Black and White Lyrics
Red wires are falling out
Everybody seems to love you now
Alright
Five glasses, sixteen lies
Everybody seems to see, no one knows
Only faulty on the train
Everybody seems to love you now
The banner shakes, the light goes out
The world is black and white
Five glasses shame these eyes
Everybody seems to say, "rise"
Alright
Then she's a silent slave
Everybody seems to know what she said
We're only faulty on the train
Everybody seems to love you now
Your body breaks the city down
The world is black and white
Red wires are flipping out
Everybody seems to know you now
It's not alright
_________
No one seems to know you're not the same
Everybody dreams
Love is love (I don't think this is right, cause its from Full Collapse. Someone help me there)
On the streets there's something
Fountained up
That's love
No one knows that today is not too late
Everybody seems to love you now
Alright
Five glasses, sixteen lies
Everybody seems to see, no one knows
Everybody seems to love you now
The banner shakes, the light goes out
The world is black and white
Everybody seems to say, "rise"
Alright
Then she's a silent slave
Everybody seems to know what she said
Everybody seems to love you now
Your body breaks the city down

I was hoping someone would try to do this one, and you did a pretty good job, I was gonna but that screaming at the end was indesiferable for me. "We live in a City Built on Healthcare and it's making us sick." Will you be doing tightwire? that song kicks butt too. Not sure about the love is love part that is from A Hole in the World, but Oh well
I am going to try Tightwire right now. After I spent half an hour on this one I was a little tired of trying to decifer more lyrics. That one line I dont have in this one is annoying me. I think I hear "eighteen" at the beginning of it, but I'm not sure.
Now your words unwind like wires in the night
When you see this it's the end of the line And the wrists unwind right there And the rope gets tighter now Everything was safe All the rain from your dress helps you to see but it Puts you through the ring of fire Another test to fail, I'll be there My rope gets tighter now Everything was safe but now it Puts you through the ring of fire Everything sings about you now When you see this they'll be seeing afterlife When you see this _ My rope gets tighter now Everything ___ Puts you through the ring of fire Another test to fail, I'll be there
Thats what I have for Tightwire. It's not good enough to submit yet but we can figure out some more of it here, since both of these songs are from the same show. I really like the line "puts you through the ring of fire, another test to fail, I'll be there".
hey... any idea where i might find these songs? (obviously there not on any cd)
They were recorded at a recent show at CBGBs. I got them from a post on thursday's message board. I'm sure someone would upload if you went over there and asked.
I guess they saved releasing these for a future EP.
This song is not Panic On the Streets of Healthcare City. In the WATT booklet there's a line of lyrics from that song, it goes "In a city built on healthcare, and it's making us sick". This "The World is Black And White" song is not it.
This song has gone by both names since it was recorded so I just put both in here so I wouldn't confuse anyone.
I've always refered to this song as The World is Black and White and thought Panic on the Streets of Healthcare City was a different song. I don't think Panic nessesarily has "We live in a city bulit on heathlcare" line in it though. It doesn't matter considering no one has heard Panic on the Streets have they? That a pretty good job on Tightwire BTW, that's all can get.
Thanks. I changed the title because everyone seems to agree that "Panic" is an entirely different song.
