My interpretation is more to do with the life he's living itself being more hollow and pointless than feeling hollow afterwards because of the drugs.

More to the fact he does it all the time and it itself is pointless, doing the same thing again and again, drugs and then pulling and he knows its all a farce but can't seem to stop.

The title says it all.

People who go to parties just to die after - both mentally and phisicaly. and then they just go to another party. kind of real addict "The morning breaks us up inside Payback, execution, killing time So watch as I start to smile" - they really want to escape from their everyday troubles, that's why they search embrace in all of those mess like Coke and Speed.

yes, i agree with you. they're living to party, and when theyre not partying, its all empty, you stop being that person and youre out of your depth.

Perhaps, this is simply about having a hangover, cause I recently experienced that for the first time, and I kind of felt like I was dying.

I feel like he's observing, not really interacting too much at parties. Watching everyone do drugs, and trying to fill up their hollow shell. He's smiling at it, kind of like its funny. Not a laughing type of funny, but a sad funny. He's watching people throw themselves away. "There's something that you think you need Trying your best to sleep at cocaine speed So watch as i start to smile" Here I feel he's saying, You dont really need the drugs but you think you do, so good luck with yourself, have fun screwing yourselves up.

He dies after every party, I personally take this as an introvert sort of thing, like...the events are too wild and crazy and he needs to recover but that my own little idea, Also it could be out of sympathy for the others, all the stress of watching them hurt themselves. Or perhaps its just the fact that parties in general are so emotionally and physically draining
