The Politics of Living and the Shame in Dying Lyrics
All this white light's gone black and no one's here to see.
I wish I could scream "stop this awkward confusion"
And let me be.
My system to keep wishing. My system could work.
Black ink has the cure.
Feel good knowing your solution if forgotten in a year.
I'll wait just to never really have to decide.
Cause It's our goddamn right to live
Yet it's still not our choice to die.
My system could work.
But it's all I can do to breathe is wait.
My system to keep wishing. My system could work.
Why do I? Why do I try? My system could work.
And let me be.
Feel good knowing your solution if forgotten in a year.
I'll wait just to never really have to decide.
Cause It's our goddamn right to live
Yet it's still not our choice to die.
But it's all I can do to breathe is wait.
Why do I? Why do I try? My system could work.

Im thinking this has something to do with the death penalty vs. anti-abortion. "Cause It's our goddamn right to live, Yet it's still not our choice to die." My favorite part of this song is "Stop this awkward confusion". it really sums up the hypcrocy in the whole situation of pro-life/pro-death.
I disagree. I think this song is about how life is bullshit. You have no say in when you die, it happens whether you want it to or not and all you can do is wish.
Actually, according to Kenny this song is about legality of suicide.
