Don't Ever Tell Locke What He Can't Do Lyrics
harder than we should
are we wanting more
than to try to sell you out
are you one
yes i can
and you can't have all that you want
yes i can
and when your wrong i'm still not right
and throw it back against the wall
you asked me how
and what if i resent you now
and what if i can't trust
in anything you say
yes i can
you can't have all that you want
yes i can
and when your wrong i'm still not right
replace it
let's start again
erase it
so move along and face it
yes i can
you can't have all that you want
yes i can
and when your wrong i'm still not right

so... is this about lost? cause thats an awesome show. and moneen's an awesome band. put them together and you have pure kickassedness. yeah, thats a real word. look it up.

song is def about lost, the line about trust and lets start again. its all about locke's character

this song fuckin kills

the title may be inspired by lost, but i have trouble seeing how the song itself is about lost. in the booklet kenny said every song meant something, and unless they were really into lost i don't see why they'd write a song about it. but who knows?

No, i highly doubt that the song's about Lost. But i don't think the title's totally random either. It just basically encompasses the 'Yes I can' attitude that Locke has.
"what if i resent you now, what if i can't trust in anything you said"

damnit it didn't post the whole thing
eh, i don't think the title's totally random. It just basically encompasses the 'Yes I can' attitude that Locke has.
"what if i resent you now, what if i can't trust in anything you said" .... I mean c'mon, Locke's dad conned him and took his liver. I would resent that.
"Let's start again, erase it. Let's start again, replace it. Start moving on and face it." .... Like Locke told Shannon/Boone, the island's a chance to start over. Everyone gets a new life.
And yes, i have thought about this too much, but it's one of my favorite bands and my favorite tv show.. it rocks!! haha

the moneen boys loooove lost. so i'm sure they got a bit of inspiration from it, but it's not about the show per se.

I'd say Jellybrick has the right idea. The Moneen guys are probably writing about Lockes relationship in general and how he cant let go of the past and trust people anymore. I'm sure the guys in moneen have the same problems, cause i know i do, and most people do. oh yeah, AMAZING tv show, and awesome new cd, just got it

locke is a philosopher for crying out loud this song has nothing to do with lost.

my favorite song by them, it pretty much says to never quit no matter how hard something can be
