hmm this songs first comment sweeettttt... well I love this song to tell ya the truth. it's quite catchy.

What i see in this song is that a woman really loves this one man but she just cannot stay in a commitment, I think she's afraid because she might do something stupid that might ruin the relationship so she's telling him to back off at times and just leave her alone. but then again that's just my interpretation.

She loves the guy but she also wants to have her space. She wants but she doesn't want him and when she can't have him she wants him more. Yep, it's about commintment and personal space.

While I think this song could just be about commitment, I think it's more about having someone that horns in on your life so much that it becomes intolerable. "Give me some room, there will be room enough for two" - this to me sums it all up the best. Even in a relationship with someone that is wonderful and that you love dearly (friend or lover), you can't spend every minute together - eventually you'll drive one another crazy! This is reiterated by "I don't want to wake up with another, but I don't want to always wake up with you either." Sometimes some time alone is what a person really needs, and if their significant other is constantly hanging around and not giving them that space, it can choke the relationship pretty quick.

On an off note - "Cuttin' off the phone, leave me the f*** alone, tomorrow I'll be begging you to come home," is my favorite line in this song - not to sound like every teeny-bopper on here, but it sums up a short-lived relationship that I went through perfectly.

This song perfectly sums up how I feel in my relationship with my boyfriend. We've been together 16 months! And it scares me, but I really do love him. I want him to give me space but at the same time I really don't!

I think it's about being in a relationship with someone, and it's serious, but she still wants her own space and her guy's getting a bit too into the whole 'together forever' thing. If he's around all the time she'll get sick of him, but if he stays away she'll miss him.

i love this song. again pink has combined a really catchy song with some great lyrics. and there easy especailly for girls to relate to. i cant stand to be arpund people all the time especially the same one - no matter how much i like there company or lovethem so sometime i want them toget out of my face. great song in a very good album

I love the song. I really do.

But I am very lucky in being able to say that I feel the total opposite to this, and fortunately so does my fiancee. We want to spend every waking minute together.

But ironically I work away a lot, but we seem to handle it quite well!
