When it was over and they could talk about it
She said there's just one thing I have got to know
What in that moment when you were running so hard and fast
Made you stop and turn for home
He said I always knew you loved me even though I'd broken your heart
I always knew there'd be a place for me to make a brand new start

Oh love wash over a multitude of things
Love wash over a multitude of things
Love wash over a multitude of things
Make us whole

When it was over and they could talk about it
They were sitting on the couch
She said what on earth made you stay here
When you finally figured out what I was all about
He said I always knew you'd do the right thing
Even though it might take some time
She said, Yeah, I felt that and that's probably what saved my life

Oh love wash over a multitude of things
Love wash over a multitude of things
Love wash over a multitude of things
Make us whole

There is a love that never fails
There is a healing that always prevails
There is a hope that whispers a vow
A promise to stay while we're working it out
So come with your love and wash over us

I love these lines: "He said I always knew you loved me eventhough I'd broken your heart I always knew there'd be a place for me to make a brand new start." Sometimes it feels like God breaks my heart because I don't understand why some things happen and I am sad and I grieve and I doubt Him and question my love for Him, but as long as HE knows I still love Him... as long as HE knows there can be a new start... that, to me, is "a love that never fails".

Great songm, great lyrics, and I really think this song it is not necesarily reffering to God...the rest is up to you...

This is my interpretation. I was thinking that a couple hit a dead end in their relationship. She took a nose dive and he let her go rather than take responsibility for her actions. She later realized what she needed to do to "get right". He may have let her go but he didn't give up on her. He had faith in her and mercy on her for she probably didn't really know what she was doing at the time. Life was cloudy and she got lost. His love was unconditional and he wants to fight for them, which is why I think Sara wrote this:

"When it was over and they could talk about it They were sitting on the couch She said what on earth made you stay here When you finally figured out what I was all about He said I always knew you'd do the right thing Even though it might take some time She said, Yeah, I felt that and that's probably what saved my life"

I was thinking what saved her life was him letting her go. Perhaps she went away on her own somewhere and had a lot of time to think about things. Perhaps she went to jail, rehab, home, or somewhere else. It was what she needed to appreciate him and the better things in life.

I was also thinking that love is wonderful. Grace is amazing. God is love. There's nothing more greater than to love and be loved in return.

Okay, so I wrote two interpretations. I think this song is genius, because the first time I did not catch that they both made mistakes. Both forgave the other. It’s not about him being wrong or her being wrong. All are sinners and neither should really judge because we all need to be loved. We all give up at some point in our lives even many times. We all need to be reminded to keep a positive attitude.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.
