The Crows Are Coming For Us Lyrics
How does it feel
To be ashamed
Of who you love
Well I know
You and me ought to hurry
Heaven in the glitter is for real
Real, real
Always knew
What you were
Always knew
You walk on water
You sing a lovely tune
You walk on water
You sing a lovely tune
You walk on water
You sing a lovely tune
You walk on water
You sing, sing
Always knew
What you were
Always knew
The crows are coming for us
Let them live, let them live
The crows are coming for us
Let them live, let them live
The crows are coming for us
Let them live, let them live
The crows are coming for us
Let them live, let them live
The crows are coming for us
Let them live, let them live
The crows are hungry for us
Let them live, let them live
The crows are hungry for us
Let them live, let them live
The crows are hungry for us
Let them live, let them live
The crows are hungry for us
Let them live, let them live
The crows are hungry for us
Let them live, let them live
Always knew
What you were
Always knew
What you were
(The crows are coming for us)
Always knew
(The crows are hungry for us)
What you were
(The crows are coming for us)
To be ashamed
Of who you love
Well I know
Heaven in the glitter is for real
Real, real
What you were
Always knew
You sing a lovely tune
You walk on water
You sing a lovely tune
You walk on water
You sing a lovely tune
You walk on water
You sing, sing
What you were
Always knew
Let them live, let them live
The crows are coming for us
Let them live, let them live
The crows are coming for us
Let them live, let them live
The crows are coming for us
Let them live, let them live
The crows are coming for us
Let them live, let them live
Let them live, let them live
The crows are hungry for us
Let them live, let them live
The crows are hungry for us
Let them live, let them live
The crows are hungry for us
Let them live, let them live
The crows are hungry for us
Let them live, let them live
What you were
Always knew
What you were
(The crows are coming for us)
Always knew
(The crows are hungry for us)
What you were

i think it's about him loving a "bad person" like a criminal or the like. and "the crows" are the cops?
funny story bout this song. the other day i was listening to it in my room on my stereo, and right when they started singing "The crows are coming for us" two crows flew into my window! no joke! scared the crap outta me though
The title is also a line from the character Echo in the screenplay Pits, written by Gillian Plowman.
this song is amazing has to be one of my favorites. It's just so haunting or something. I love crows too so thats a plus. Not to sure what the song's about though.
just as 'the crows are hungry for us' kicks in if you listen uber hard you can hear someone chanting 'war, war, war, war,' this song is ace the 'you walk on water' bit had me thinking i was listening to a Korn track.
lol thats what i thought..

I HEARD that it was about a significant other being ashamed of who they're with, like a girl being ashamed that she is with Sonny in a relationship, so she tries to hide it when she's around other people. I don't know, though.
You walk on water You sing a lovely tune You walk on water You sing a lovely tune You walk on water You sing a lovely tune You walk on water You sing, sing
thats my favorite part i love how u hear singing and like the whispering also
its actually "hidden in the glitter is the real thing" instead of heaven in the glitter is for real. and its not let them live let them live. its let 'em in let 'em in.
nope pretty sure its let em live
Emo angel is right about the "hidden in glitter is the real thing" but not about the "let 'em in".
I, however, have no idea what it's about.
Of course it's about being ashamed of loving a certain someone. He tells you in the first line. But I think the whole "always knew what you were" means that the person is something not appealing to society but he doesn't care. "You walk on water; you sing a lovely tune" I think that either means he thinks that the person is SO great or that the person is a tempter. The "creepy" voices singing that part make it seem more like something bad, so tempter is my guess. Just an idea though.
