Now I just finished fucking my man
And I'm laying in the bed with my dick in his hand
He gets up and he says he's thirsty
He's going to the store to get a 40 of Olde' E
He kissed me and told me I'll be back
I laid the fuck down and started taking a nap
I passed the fuck out cause Iâm tired like a mutha
That's when I heard a scream and a car burning rubber
I grabbed my gat and I ran outside
I saw my baby on the ground
and they're beating him down
They got him outnumbered 1 to 8
They're callin him a fag and their kiicking his
face I pulled my gat and I'm letting it spit
And I don't really care or give a fuck who I hit
They jump in the car and they run like bitches
The dead mutha fuckas just dug their ditches

Chorus
Run From The Faggots, Run From The Faggots, You Know Twisted G Came To Bring The Ruckus, Run From The Faggots, Run From The Faggots, I Guess You Picked The Wrong Fucking Fags To Fuck With

Now my boos in the hospital
Do you think they'll get away, that's impossible
Cause I'm gonna terrorize them like a gang of A-rabs
Cause they picked the wrong fucking Fag to gay-bash
I know who they are cause I seen them before
Now you know it's time for me to settle the score
That's when I called my dawgs and we hit the street
The 3 craziest Fags that you'd hate to meet
So we headed out to this country bar
We drove around the back and we spotted the car
So we laid low than 4 came out
And when they turned around we stuck the gats in their mouth
We put them on their knees now their sucking our dicks
We nutted on their faces and we're watching it drip
Now get the fuck up we give you 3 to run
1, 2... (Gunfire) now mutha fuckas are done

Chorus

Now we're hunting for the heteros
4 down and 4 mutha fuckas to go
So we laid low and stayed blazed on weed
That's when we get the call and that's all we need
We got the address of the place they rest
Grabbed the artillery and bags of sess
Kicked in the door and we can see our victims
4 rednecks and their girls are with them
Step into the room and you could smell the fear
Don't nobody move cause the Fags are here
But a parties only what you make it
Make all the guys strip and get butt naked
Put them on their knees now we're fucking them all
Lick the shit off my cock while you're licking my balls
Your girls in tears while she watch you suck it
I guess you picked the wrong fucking Fag to fuck with!

This shit is fucking hilarious. With all of the gaybashing in hip-hop, this song is awesome. I love the way he breaks the stereotype mold so much. A gay musician who isn't so passive aggressive libertarian that he's afraid to drop down to the homophobes level. ie: Quit whining about homophobic lyrics, and talk shit back. A fuckin +!

Too bad I don't think he's serious about stayin around. His site's down, his supposed album never dropped and it doesn't look like he's said or done shit on myspace in forever.

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
