Nature and the Wreck Lyrics
I notice what you see.
Below us,
your arms are like the trees.
I know we haven't said enough.
and how each day matters.
your limbs caught in the rails.
These simple games will soon be growing tales.
And I know we haven't said enough.
I know I haven't said too much.
and how each day matters
to me.
I know more what you need.
You need me to put you in the trees.
But I know I've never loved this much.
"Spying shows your limbs caught in the rails"
She's not meant to see their difficulties, but she has
i believe this song is about their child.
because at the end of this song, you can hear a baby making noises.
the whole song. the whole meaning. its gorgeous.
i never quite finished my thought. but it all really fits.
"I know I haven't said enough. I know we haven't said enough."
they cant necessarily talk as we do seeing as though their child cant speak english yet.
"How I will protect, and how each day matters."
their love for their child
"Spying shows, your limbs caught in the rails. These simple games will soon be growing tales."
looking through the crib and how this will be fond memories.
from the "your arms are like the trees." to "I know more what you need. You need me to put you in the trees."
they know whats best etc
"I know we haven't said enough But I know I've never loved this much."
those two lines are pretty much sef-explainatory.
but this is all just one person's thoughts.
yeah, beautiful song for their child.
i cannot hear their baby talking at the end without laughing out loud. haha....
I think the funniest thing on the planet is when babies engage you in conversation. HAHA, they do it all the time if you pay attention and its hilarious. Just....random noises about whatever is in front of them. HAHA...
For some reason I always took "Spying shows..." as Kori having a sonogram. No doubt this song is about Magnolia though.
omg beautiful
this song is apperently about when jason and kori were in a car crash when magnolia was in the car... ...it fits, but i think other than that, it seems like a pretty much self explaintry song. much more so than lots of their other stuff.
