This song is actually about her relationship fading away, and how we as youth's think we control our destinies, like we can easily fix a breaking relationship. And how our hands are the most destructive thing in mans life yet we try to hold on to things with them that are most dear to our needs. Hikki did a beautiful job on this song's.. it's actually my favorite of hers.

And the video is really amazing as well. I agree with bemylast that she's dead and saves her childhood friend from death. I think this video proves that memories are the most precious of our existence. And theres a certain scene in the video where she's sitting on a bed while a younger version of her and her childhood friend are dancing around the room to the girls father playing the guitar, something both eerie and beautiful.

PLEASE SOMEONE POST THE ENGLISH LYRICS ON HERE!!! I CANT FIND THEM ANYWHERE!!!!

This song is beautiful. The music video is just as gorgeous; Hikaru looked amazing. Definitely one of my favorites.

Basically it's about how she was trying to get back to her boyfriend but she couldn't so she chooses to see him again for one last time. As you can see in the video, she keeps following her ex boyfriend and his new girlfriend which is her childhood friend. Finally she decides to let him go so they can be together happily, killing herself in the process.

I totally love her voice when she sings but her real voice is kinda low when speaking Japanese or English.

(At least this is what Wikipedia officially says) Utada is already dead, the man accidentally shot her when they were together and her child friend is now dating him. So she now follows her and is haunted by it since he senses her ghost but does not actually see her. When utada pushes her, she saves her. When she is struck by the car no one sees her because she is already dead. She was meant to save her friend and say goodbye and remind the man of what he did to her and to be with her friend

She wants the man to feel her for that one last tome before she is taken back to the "other world" the friend as well thats why she smiles when she sees her and we see that cool flash of light in the video.

Such an amazing video. Thats what Wikipedia says shrugs who knows. It makes sense though since everyone walks past her.
