I like this version a lot better than John Lennon. William Beckett is much better.
i actually agree with weekendwarrior. when i first heard this song, i knew it couldn't have been written by these guys, so i looked it up, and realized it was a john lennon song and downloaded it. after listening to them back to back, it seems that william can put the haunting sound in the lyrics that they need for the song to come across just right. but kudos to lennon for writing an amazing song!
I love this song and this band, but there is no way they're better than John Lennon. I agree that this is an amazing version of the song, but at least for me, it can't top Lennon.

bahaha thats weird the green day version is evvvverywhere. i had no idea that TAI had done one.
that's because TAI doesn't have a cover of this. it's green day. it used to be playing all the time at my work.
