Though, i dun really get its meaning...does it have something to do about not looking back to decisions made in the past in regret? I really dunno...help me please...haha
i dont get any of Dragonforce's lyrics XD but to me, DF is one of those bands how you don't focus on lyrics, the music is just breathtaking.

In my opinion this is, like others think, a recap of the album, but it could be the start of the next one.
The main character of the story is recapping on their journey, which I think is convoy of reinforcement, if needed. And he's been traveling with a partner the entire time, for most almost all of their life, because of the phrase: "All our lives we have been waiting for a sound to call"
While recapping on their adventures, they realize their fears of dieing and leaving their life behind like the ones before them, seen the phrases: "How do we know when we will leave this life behind? Staring life through eyes of mine to hate the fear and the pain" There's a feeling held deep inside - the life you live is in vain"
As they talk, his partner reveals that he wants to give in and join the forces of evil. And now our narrator is faced with the temptation of giving in as well, releaving his troubled mind of all his worries. Or he can stay true to his people, and become enemys with his lifelong friend...
df is one of those metal bands that wins a crowd over with powerful lyrics and great guitar solos, not just screaming and loudness. They are just amazing
This song is very down-to-earth. It's not so much a story as allusions to the hardships of life. In general, the song is about passing away. The deceased has seen the hardships of life and knows the betrayal,however they hold strong to their way of living and do what's right. "The last temptaion" is a reference to Christ. I don't know DF's religious beliefs but they are using it to acknowledge a pure but rough life. It reminds me of my mom...in fact it was the last song we listened to together before she passed away...
and on another note the lyrics are botched. the line "When I see your creation now for an enemy" is actually "When I see all creation now falling down on me." (check the album inlay)
My absolute favorite ballad by DF. A very nice way to end a very kickass album. DF Forever!
I figure, that since the rest of the album is a journey of soldiers (as i see it) fighting evil. This is maybe the aftermath, a recap of the album and the journey of those who fought.
