While recapping on their adventures, they realize their fears of dieing and leaving their life behind like the ones before them, seen the phrases:
"How do we know when we will leave this life behind?
Staring life through eyes of mine to hate the fear and the pain"
There's a feeling held deep inside - the life you live is in vain"
As they talk, his partner reveals that he wants to give in and join the forces of evil. And now our narrator is faced with the temptation of giving in as well, releaving his troubled mind of all his worries. Or he can stay true to his people, and become enemys with his lifelong friend...
