i remember reading somewhere that this song was inspired when a friend of the band went through a divorce, and his wife left him.

I heard Zac wrote this with some guy, Bleu, so maybe it's Bleu's story. Zac is happily married from what I know, as are the other guys.

umm MAYBE if he had fixed the pipes every once in a while, and hey, how about dusting so the lamp isn't MISCOLORED? Or maybe you could mow the lawn before the 20TH FREAKING TIME I ASKED YOU. Or how about a little bit of personal hygiene? Maybe washing your hands clean so it's not full of FILTH AND GERMS WHEN YOU TOUCH ME would be nice. GOD. SERIOUSLY.
letterstonoelle, I'm pretty sure I heard this was about Bleu and his wife. I'm not sure how true that is, but it makes sense.
This is a very sad song, but it's beautiful. I'm not really a huge fan of Zac's voice. I think he has a great voice, and I like that they're splitting leads now. It gives the band a new dynamic, and some variety. But, it's not my preference. However, I think he does an excellent job with this song.
