Boy, there you go
You're telling me that you love me
But boy you know
That you belong to another girl who loves you
You are so fine
You blow my mind
(Things you do) with the things you do to me
(She sees) She's not blind, not blind
Things you do, things you do for me, but I know

I'm so into you
I don't know what I'm gonna do
Boy, you got me so confused
I don't know what I'm gonna do

Friends ask how could I give myself
To one who belongs to someone else
They just don't know
Your love's so good
That they would want it for themselves
Anyone can see (so fine, so fine)
You're so fine, so fine
You blow my mind
(Things you do) with the things you do to me
(She sees) She's not blind, not blind
She's not blind (things you do, things you do for me)
Things you do for me, all I know

I'm so into you (I'm so into you)
I don't know what I'm gonna do (I don't know what to do)
Boy, you got me so confused (you got me so confused)
I don't know what I'm gonna do (don't know what to do)

I'm so into you (oh yeah, and I know and I am so into you)
I don't know what I'm gonna do (don't know what to do)
Boy, you got me so confused (you got me so confused)
I don't know what I'm gonna do

You're not, you're not mine
You're not, you're not mine
You're not, you're not mine
You're not

Ooh, what am I supposed to do?

I'm so into you (I'm so into you)
I don't know what I'm gonna do (don't know what to do)
Boy, you got me so confused (so confused)
I don't know what I'm gonna do (don't know what to do)

I'm so into you (you're so fine, boy, you blow my mind)
I don't know what I'm gonna do (do not mind, I can't deny)
Boy, you got me so confused (don't know what to do)
I don't know what I'm gonna do (I'm so into you)

I'm so into you (loving you is wrong, I don't wanna be right)
I don't know what I'm gonna do (you're not mine, I can't deny)
Boy, you got me so confused (you got me so confused)
I don't know what I'm gonna do (ooh, what am I supposed do?)

I'm so into you

Boy, you got me so confused
I don't know what I'm gonna do (what am I supposed to do?)

Ministry
Both as a standalone and as part of the DSOTS album, you can take this lyric as read. As a matter of public record, Jourgensen's drug intake was legendary even in the 1980s. By the late 90s, in his own words, he was grappling with massive addiction issues and had lost almost everything: friends, spouse, money and had nearly died more than once. "Dark Side of the Spoon" is a both funny & sad title for an album made by a musical genius who was losing the plot; and this song is a message to his fans & friends saying he knows it. It's painful to listen to so I'm glad the "Keith Richards of industrial metals" wised up and cleaned up. Well done sir.

Fortnight
Taylor Swift
The song 'Fortnight' by Taylor Swift and Post Malone tells a story about strong feelings, complicated relationships, and secret wishes. It talks about love, betrayal, and wanting someone who doesn't feel the same. The word 'fortnight' shows short-lived happiness and guilty pleasures, leading to sadness. It shows how messy relationships can be and the results of hiding emotions. “I was supposed to be sent away / But they forgot to come and get me,” she kickstarts the song in the first verse with lines suggesting an admission to a hospital for people with mental illnesses. She goes in the verse admitting her lover is the reason why she is like this. In the chorus, she sings about their time in love and reflects on how he has now settled with someone else. “I took the miracle move-on drug, the effects were temporary / And I love you, it’s ruining my life,” on the second verse she details her struggles to forget about him and the negative effects of her failure. “Thought of callin’ ya, but you won’t pick up / ‘Nother fortnight lost in America,” Post Malone sings in the outro.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.
