Inaniel Lyrics
Inaniel miel laeilani
Inaniel miel
Cunado dios va caminando
Cuando dios va, va
Cuando dios va cantando
Cuando dios va, va
Inaniel miel leilani
Cuando dios va saltando
Cuando dios va calmando
Cuando dios va, va
Inaniel miel leilani
Cuando dios se rie de mi alma
Cuando dios se, se
Cuando el sol calienta el agua
Inaniel miel leilani
Ese sol
Con su pierna guapa
Tu dolor
Es pura santa
Inaniel miel
Cunado dios va caminando
Cuando dios va, va
Cuando dios va cantando
Cuando dios va, va
Cuando dios va saltando
Cuando dios va calmando
Cuando dios va, va
Cuando dios se, se
Cuando el sol calienta el agua
Con su pierna guapa
Tu dolor
Es pura santa

This song is very wonderful, Devendra is brilliant. Though I wish I knew more as to what the lyrics are, I was surprised to see no comments as well. I’m glad to have been introduced to his music, it’s really something I can not describe. ^^;;
this is my best translation:
Inaniel Miel Laeilani Inaniel Miel When God goes walking When God goes, he goes When God goes singing When God goes, he goes
Inaniel Miel Laeilani When God goes jumping When God goes calming When God goes, he goes
Inaniel Miel Laeilani
When God laughs at my soul When God... When the sun warms up the water
Inaniel Miel Laeilani
That sun With its handsome leg Your pain Is pure holy
miel=honey, but I think Inaniel Miel Laeilani is a name?
i speak no spanish but this is my absofuckinglutely MOST FAVOURITE tune by Devendra... like someone said before... indescribable! feelings from this song thank you guys for translation

Before i knew the translation, I'd always imagined that inaniel was either a childhood imaginary friend, or the spirit of a boy who died really young. Given the translation, unlikely, but it still sounds like that in my head when i listen to the song.
Incredibly beautiful.
It is actually - spelled Leilani...like my name. Leilani is a popular Hawaiian name meaning "heavenly flower" or "royal child of heaven". There is a famous song from the 1930s called "Sweet Leilani" - this is somewhat of a spin on it - miel being honey...sweet.
this song is dedicated to his ex g.f. - the girl from Cocorosie (Bianca Leilani «Coco» Casady)
Leinani is Inaniel backwards, miel = honey
