Jackie Big Tits Lyrics

I'd like to say, that I was on your mind
So I phone you at ten past three, in the afternoon
It's evening for you, and another bare hotel room
So hard to believe, that you're dreaming of me too
But it's true

You only go around, round, round
You only go around, round, round
You only go around, round, round
You only go around, round, round

And Amsterdam, I never knew you so well
The stadium rings with laughter, at every turn
At flying piano's of all things, to set your scene
I'm such a nice man to you, but so obscene
And it's true girl

You only go around, round, round
You only go around, round, round
You only go around, round, round
You only go around, round, round

Jackie big tits, is hiding in the corner
Respect is the word she shouts, as I implore her
Speaks her mind not me, cause I was only speaking freely
Interupt me once more, I'll take you to the cleaners

You can't push me around, round, round
You can't push me around, round, round
You only go around, round, round
You only go around, round, round

i kinda think schoofchen's analysis is interesting and i would agree entirely. However, I'd just like to put forward an argument of my own: i think that in the first verse, the singer has just started going out with this girl who he believes is way out of his league and he can't believe his luck! " I'd like to say, that I was on your mind So I phone you at ten past three, in the afternoon" he phones her on the other side of the world (for whatever reason) just because he can and he is so smitten with her and believes she is with him. In the second verse, i think he acknowledges that he worships her but does not really have a very romantic approach with her, "I'm such a nice man to you, but so obscene" - hes really good to her but does not treat her with respect, Jackie Big Tits being a very derrogatory term. In the third verse, the two are having a fall out and he realises that perhaps she does not like him as much as he does her and is quite harsh to him when she 'speaks her mind'. Then he realises perhaps he is being bullied and manipulated by her motivated by his obsession. note how 'you only go around' changes to 'you cant push me around' showing he has grown stronger and is no longer afraid to lose her. He has seen the light. I know i am probably wrong but just a thought i had. Fantastic song though. best on the album.

I love songs about hookers.

I kind of got the feeling it was about a relationship in which he was a little ashamed of her, on account of her being a prostitute. And well he loves her more than the other men she 'works' with, he later starts to feel like he's inclined to treat her like they do - with disrespect. Rather than giving her cute pet names or listening to what she has to say, he begins to call her "Jackie Big Tits" & spends the evening "imploring" her (..sexually, of course) and disregarding her demand for respect. But because he sees her as just a prostitute, and perceives that to mean she doesn't deserve respect, he takes her 'demand for respect' as her pushing him around.

But that's just how I saw it, I know that's wrong though haha. Oh & does the beginning sound like those tickle-me-elmo things to anybody else? Haha, cause that's instantly what I thought of when I heard it.

i think this song is about a boy who he loves, but cannot believe his luck because he thinks shes too good for him, because he doesnt treat her with respect (hence the title jackie big tits), from the line 'Respect is the word she shouts', but she loves him anyway.

great song

i deffinatly think this song is about a prostitute that he is in love with and maybe she loves him back but shes a prostitue and he knows that shes with another man in a place shes unfamiliar with and that he treats her well but when he has sex with her its disgusting because he thinks of all the men shes been with? its deffinatly about a prostitute he loves, but maybe the rest isnt right.. or maybe it is.. who knows?
