Omega Lyrics
At the end
I became them
And I led them
After all none of us really qualified as humans
We were just hardworn, automatic
And as hollow as the "O" in god
I reattached my emotions
Cellular and narcotic
From the top of hollywood
It looked like space
Millions of capsules
and Mechanical Animals
A city filled with dead stars
and a girl I called coma white
This is my Omega
I became them
And I led them
After all none of us really qualified as humans
We were just hardworn, automatic
And as hollow as the "O" in god
I reattached my emotions
Cellular and narcotic
From the top of hollywood
It looked like space
Millions of capsules
and Mechanical Animals
A city filled with dead stars
and a girl I called coma white
This is my Omega

no comments? wow
this is a brilliant depiction of what we have all become
i dont know exactly what this means... but it is amazing.
Let's just nevermind.
ummm......i don't really kno wat this means but it ties in somehow with the song mechanical animals and coma white......but aperantly we are hollow....this much i can comprehend
This goes along with the story of Mechanical Animals. I don't know all the story, just bits a pieces. It means that because of this world we've created, through the entertainment that conform us, we all become the same, there is no way to tell what we are, but we are deffinitly not humans. We are the Mechanical Animals, comsumed by entertainment and Drugs "The Dope Show."
This threads in well with Antichrist Superstar in that we have become with and we will decompose as filth, there will be no one to cry to, no god to save us and no reason a god would save us, this is what we deserve and we will come to a horrable end.
This song is about how truly shallow fame is, and that the beautiful, famous, people are just like us, only narcissistic, vain and shallow beyond our comprehension.
"This is my Omega" can be interpreted as when he gives up the charade and resolves to be himself, as he is in Antichrist Superstar.
I think there's an actual title to this song, although being listed as 'Untitled' in most cases, it's called 'Dystopia'.. kinda keeps to the whole theme of the album. Perfect way to sum up what he's explaining in the track.
This poem is a reflection of the preceding story on the album.
About how Omega led a revolution which later would become sold out, as he became one of the stars (the beautiful people) in space (HOLY WOOD) and "led" them as the next big star. But his public persona, being what they wanted him to say, was a sold out rock star who only wanted to be high an famous. His personal side pursued what was, in his mind, perfect happiness; and sought that through the abuse of drugs. Which ultimately led to his death.
