Did I change Your mind with
What I said last night?
Did I break Your heart by
Straying so far
By what You have in mind
For my life?

Would You change me from
Who I've been lately?
'Cause I know I'm nothing
Without You

Did my words betray the
Patience I once claimed?
Can't You see it in my face?
I need your grace

Would You change me from
Who I've been lately?
'Cause I know I'm nothing
Without You
Would You save me from
The way I've been lately?
'Cause I can't see living
Without You

So would you speak to me
And show me what I need
Is it patience, kindness, all
That's in between?
Loving others the way You
Love me?

Would You change me from
Who I've been lately?
'Cause I know I'm nothing
Without You
Would You break me from
The way I've been lately?
'Cause I can't see living
Without You

whaaaaaa? it's good that God has complete control over us? I love this song still, especially the chorus. I know it's about God, but I like to think about this song in different ways than just that. The capitalized You's are very distracting when trying to find meanings in lyrics, beside from religious meaning. sigh

yea it's good that God has controll over everything, because God knows everything and He is good and He looks after us. I'd rather have Him to have the controll than anyone else.

Why would you try to find an other meaning in this song when it's so clearly about God?? That's just distorting and twisting the message from Sanctus Real..

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Bron-Y-Aur Stomp
Led Zeppelin

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.
