"Take Me In" as written by and Dave Browning....
Take me past the outer courts,
Into the holy place,
Past the brazen altar.
Lord I want to see Your face.
Pass me by the crowds of people
And the priests who sing Your praise.
I hunger and thirst for Your righteousness,
But it's only found in one place.

Take me in to the holy of holies.
Take me in by the blood of the lamb.
Take me in to the holy of holies.
Take the coal, touch my lips, here I am.

General CommentThis is indeed a great song.

simtech113, the reference to the coal touching the lips is from Isaiah 6:5-7

""Woe to me!" I cried. "I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the LORD Almighty."
6 Then one of the seraphs flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar.
7 With it he touched my mouth and said, "See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for."
