How can nobody have commented on this. This is ofcourse about the suicide of Derrick Plourde, the original drummer.
I have to give Lagwagon props on this album. The band actually matured really quick after Derrick's death. Sad day that was when Derrick took his life!
This song is truely amazing...i recently lost a good friend and i guess just by listening to this song and other songs from this album i can relate to what the band is going through. Hmmm tis a very sad time.
This song is great! One of the best on the album! The lyrics are crazy good! Gave me shivers! Almost made me cry! wow!

I have read in an interview that Joey has recorded the intro when he had just finished cryin. so that's also why it sounds so emotionally involved
