I always go to Herzeleid for Rammstein songs. In my opinion, it's a completely awesome song since there are so many stupid homophobics in the world. I'm not that way myself, but some of my best friends are and it sucks to always hear people insulting gays.

Huh, I seriously thought he says "Schwuler" and not "Schwule"... This song is probably one of the best on the new album in my opinion: the puns are just awesome and the part after the 2nd chorus is so haunting. I love it!

I love this song and the new album but this is my fav. It says Schwule cos thats what gay is in german, bu he adds a ah on the end to make it catching and fit in with the song, that all!

I mean, it's just a matter of plural vs. singular, 'Schwule' being the plural of 'Schwuler', but I guess I see your point.

Sounds more like Schwulah, than Schwule or Schwuler.

Well yeah, because that's how Germans would pronounce it... Not everyone goes around rolling the Rs like Till, and not even he does it all the time.

Is it for real that they recorded this song ...naked?

im from austria - means i speak perfect German and im 100% sure that he say schwuler its meant that "Kalte Zungen die da schlagen" means that Cold tongues (cold is always bad in rammstein songs) call him fagott and when he screams he says schwuler ahhhhh it can sound like schwula wich is same as schwuler, schwula is just "slang" but if u really listen u hear the "er" instead of "ah"

I have another question for you native German speakers out there. I've had a lot experience studying German now, but I have never come across the expression "Zungen, die schlagen". Is this something that Rammstein made up and it's just supposed to be a metaphor, or is it really an expression that has a specific meaning? I tried to look it up, but all I found was "das Zungenschlagen", which is apparently a clinical term used to describe some sort of abnormal movement of the tongue... Can someone help?

Mann Gegen Mann is about the rebelious nature of homosexuality (simply put) - its basically the ultimate (pure even) form of rebelion to life. Pick a aspect of life and even death and youll see thats true

"Schwulah" is a made up word (kinda) - its just taking the german word for 'fagget' and combining it with some screaming, that word could represent the whole 'effect' of homosexuality on society- - - if you seen the video (full of naked men - except for Till) youll see when hes yelling it - he transform to this demon - Schwulah represents the demon

o yeah - final note, homosexuality has been around for a long time (very frequent in old great cultures of Asia) its just that as Christianity spread - well uhh people got 'prudish' - today people are more free to live their lifes (no offense to the organized religons)...and yeah like most things, the media is trying to captilize of things :cough:urban culture:cough:
