First commentator ahem this song is...ugh. Very hurtful and truthful imo,I mean,like the world is so fulla shit.Yeah,thats the word. Fulla shit. What does he see? I have no idea. And who is the you? I'm a little thick but oh well...my second time on the song...

I love the bridge in this song. Hell, the bridges in all of the songs make the album for me.

im so happy Our Lady Peace is back. i listened to the whole album kinda off hand, but this specific song struck me. its very simple and i love raine's voice... though not as powerful as their older stuff. it seems llike the good old OLP has kinda lost its path in a world where music - especially rock - has transformed, or mutated into a different phase.

i agree completely with princess sparkle. ive been an olp fan for a very long time, and will always be, but i think they have lost some of their magic over the years. i still love them though (and am going to their concert wed!!!). once a fan always a fan. and i love this song, the world on a string, very good analogy of everything changing all the time and, as kurokupo perfectly put it, the world is full of bs. its about the one truth in the world being all the lies "you'll bring me back to life". i

This verse makes me laugh a little. True,our lips are kinda like glued together,AND NO ONE GIVES A DAMN. I found it funny from the word glued,but its so like us.

(I'm bleeding.)(No feeling) ever noticed how these two go together? You're bleeding so deeply that you don't even notice the love people are giving at times,the world's so confusing,fulla bullshit,but we are living in it! So we have to get used to it!

Now I finnlay get the real meaning of this song.XD And I too, have been a fan of OLP for a long time.And I always will be.But when this album came out,it sounded so different from thier other albums.My whole family(We are all fans of OLP XD), was like 'Whoa' when we heard it.But when I heard it,this became meh favorite song.When its playing i can like,sing it along.And even without any music or anything i can sing the entire song O_O. Now I alos know why my sister got sick of this song...Of me listening to it all the time.XD

This song, in particular, is very much different from most of OLPs other stuff. It's kind of like.... dance music? It makes you want to smile and bounce, but it's about the world sucking so much. Maybe the music clashes with the lyrics so much (although it still sounds cool) could mean that everything seems to be all nice and lite and everyone feels like dancing and smiling, but that's only because they're ignoring what is really being said... that the world sucks underneath it all.

That's my thoughts.

The intro to this song makes me laugh out loud. So unlike OLP. But, it's a great song.
