My God at the perfection of this song. One of the best on Healthy In Paranoid Times.

This song is amazing. Its only been played live so far, but itll be on the new album. The new OLP stuff is amazing, it sounds like the older OLP, this song is great.

The new OLP stuff sounds like a cross between older OLP and music today. It's a great mix and will be a breath of fresh air in music these days.

I like how you can't even label the CD a certain genre.

Oh, and just a tidbit of info: The song was first named "Holy Ghost".

I'm sure no one really cares but maybe we'll look back in a few years and see it or something... I dunno.

I could be completely wrong about this, but I think this song's basically about Bush and his invasion of Iraq.

To me, it's about all the chaos that's in the world today. Expecially with terrorism and the Katrina storm. It's eerie when Raine says "You better swim".. like he predicted the flood. >_

Also, Angels Losing Sleep, to me symbolizes that so many people are dying or suffering that Angels have to work over time to do whatever it is that they do to bring light into this world again.

"Just like it's cold before it's warm You'll get back here again"

This part is interesting to me. After all the "coldness" there will "warmness", so it kinda means everything will be fine. However, "you'll get back here again" means that we will return to the "coldness" in a never ending cycle.. because the world is just messed like that.

I don't know if i'm right. What do you think?

I think the song is Raine remarking to a friend who he feels has been brainwashed or a person who cannot think for himself.

Raine isn't much a fan of organized religion, so maybe it is the story of a person who followed something so "religiously" and that person is finding out they were wrong all along (looks like the Holy Ghost is gone), and Raine is waiting with an "I told you so" type of deal.

To be technically correct, Raine's Agnostic.

Now to me, this song is much about people always experiencing bad shit happening to them, but they'll always have a place to call home. Sure ti's cliche', but thats what I reckon.
