Blood Tears Little Girl Lyrics

Little girl, where did you go?
Playing in the fields when the sun goes
Before the moon had changed at night
You had fallen out of sight

Little girl, why did you go away?
I was missing you, I knew when I strayed
Didn't mean to lie, didn't mean to cry
I just wanted to say goodbye

Little girl went to the city now
Got lost in this place up high
All the things you learned were almost real
But that denies our strength to heal

Little girl, why did you go away?
I was missing you, I knew when I strayed
Didn't mean to lie, didn't mean to cry
I just wanted to say goodbye

Walking down the street
Walking
My little girl...

Little girl gliding in the sky
came back down to say goodbye
I regret having scared you away
All my fault but nothing to say

Little girl, why did you go away?
I was missing you, I knew when I strayed
Didn't mean to lie, didn't mean to cry
I just wanted to say goodbye

Walking down the street
Walking
My little girl...

I had a girl
Little girl
She loved me more than I used to know
I loved that girl
I thought I would be with her forever

Are you guys seriously stupid. This is Jerry Cantrell...Tremorchrist is an idiot for saying this song sucks. You really don't appreciate AIC music. A reall fan don't say any AIC song sucks. Everything and i mean everything with AIC ROCKS! this is a beautiful song

i cant find this song, im sure its somewhere on the net but its must be hidden under piles and piles of capitalism. please won't someone email it to me?

if you have any other rare bootleg mp3s or vids of aic they'd also be welcome. if you're looking for something, drop me a line, i might have it.

since I've not heard the song its probably unfair to comment, but since i dont give a crap... im very skeptical that this is AiC - Layne's voice was ALWAYS distinctive, if anything more so in their early demos. Plus the lyrics are rather contrived and superficial, with clearly forced rhyme schemes. Many other songs have been misattributed to aic on their bootlegs. It would also do well to point out that alice was exclusively metal in their early stages, to my knowledge acoustic songs and performances only appeared after facelift, and Demri only died in 1996, so its unlikely it was about her. Finally Alices early work was much more upbeat than their most famous stuff, this doesn't sound like an upbeat song to me?

but im still looking forward to hearing it... hope someone will take pity on me!!

its on youtube

The name of the band is Thread. They had a five song demo tape they released that got mislabelled as Alice in Chains rare material. The song 'Blue' is also one of these songs.

This doesn't sound like Layne or Jerry.

Silly children, this is not even an AIC song, listen to the voice for fucks sake. Obviously its not layne!

That is because it is not even an Alice In Chains song! It does not even sound like anything they would write. Damn...

By the way I fucked up, they lyrics are "when you went away" not "I knew when I strayed" all apologies ;)
