Lucero is just one of those alt-country bands that's gonna break ground for new bands that'll copy them and like Johnny Cash or something. This is a pretty sweet song.
At first, when I heard this song i thought it was about the singer leaving to making a living to provide for his family and the woman he loves. But the more and more I listen to it i think that he really sorta running away.
running away? that'd make sense if this was some linkin park teenage angst bullshit. it's obviously about him going on tour for months.
