Itoshisa wa Fuhai ni Tsuki (English) Lyrics
The dance holds together this little girl As she waits for the morning
The best friend She has no one to wave to anymore
The good old days are so dear
The ashes are like flower petals that rise up to the sky
Say good bye as we torch the fire to the victims stacked up
The ashes are like flower petals that rise up to the sky
Lets put on a dress and dance
I gave her my endless love But she cries aloud so I
Now take off the dress and go to sleep
The endless love The little girl with happiness on her sleeping face is gone
The decomposed dress and the leg of the little girl
I carry
The best friend She has no one to wave to anymore
The ashes are like flower petals that rise up to the sky
The ashes are like flower petals that rise up to the sky
I gave her my endless love But she cries aloud so I
Now take off the dress and go to sleep
The endless love The little girl with happiness on her sleeping face is gone
I carry

This is such a sad piece yet there's somewhat of a warm nostalgic feeling to it. Maybe it's about a girl he loved once, and never had a chance to goodbye to her. The next time he finds her: it's night, she's dead and missing a leg. So, he holds her and says goodbye, awaiting the morning. Also, there's a serial killer involved; I'm unsure of whether it's Kyo or not though.
Dark indeed. I love Toshiya's bass in this song. I thought it would sound like another Linkin Park-esque song here like Merciless Cult. But, the song really shifts tone and it's refreshing.
God. That's crazy. This song is awesome. I love it for the upbeat-ish beat. But the dark meaning behind it makes it all the better, kinda like Umbrella
Sounds like the "I" is a pedophile inlove with his victim who, didn't return his love. He then kills her and possibly regrets it. Or .. I just have a strange way of looking at lyrics. :)
i thought it was about a little girl who's friend was raped and killed and the ashed of the little girl being burned. but thats just me O.o
that person said Dir en grey is Linkin Park-esque? Umm...
Well, this song is heavily sampled with shakuhachi, much like Nobody's Listening. Other than that this is totally far from Linkin Park. Withering to Death is the last album they played the guitar like this. Marrow and Uroboros are full of Drop D power chord guitar-playing, much like mainstream "nu metal" back in the day.

I don't think it has to do with a serial killer... i guess it could be, with Kyo, who knows. But it could be about war or some kind of disaster like that.
My first thoughts while reading these lyrics were about war.. like immediately after some sort of disaster, and thinking about how things used to be.. Actually these lyrics made me think of Grave of the Fireflies.. but this is just my interpretation..
