I like the original better myself.

I love the 2001-version; I didn't really even find the original enjoyable to listen, but musically this juts flows better. Very interesting lyrics too...very much the "those who aren't meant to be together" separated-by-life type of story.

I prefer the 2001 version too...the vocals are much much clearer and the annoying staccato is gone.

I find myself liking this version for the better musical quality and Tony Kakko adds a lot to it with his voice, but I much prefer the original lyrics; it flows much better in the Angels Fall First rendition.

Tony Kakko really does make this song sound so much better than Tuomas did back in Angels Fall first. I love the story in this song and I can't really say which one I like better lyrically. However, just for listening, it has to be this one just because of the far superior vocals.
